Learn what's happening in your neighborhood and how you can get involved!


Do you have a story to tell, an event to document, or just want to learn more about your community?  UHCC Media is a digital community network for residents, nonprofits, city departments and agencies to share information and provide ways for people to participate in civic life.  We are currently looking for correspondents to join!  You receive a free one-year UHCC Membership and free use of UHCC production equipment.  If you are interested in applying call 681.238.5806 or email tonyo@uhccmedia.org.

UHCC Media aims to connect local people who have skills, talent, tools and creative resources with non-commercial media projects and promote collaboration as a means to create diverse local productions.

Equipment

UHCC has a variety of equipment available for media productions.  The use of this equipment must be for non-commercial use and must result in UHCC Media content.

Classes

UHCC offers several sessions aimed to train and educate members on the proper use of UHCC equipment.  After completion, members can checkout equipment, schedule studio time and use editing stations to crete their productions.

UHCC Membership offers benefits to local residents, which include, free and low cost training, equipment rental, studio space, and more.

Services Overview

We offer basic technical training, the equipment, facilities and equal access to produce non-commercial programming for individuals, organizations and institutions in and around the city of Beckley, West Virginia.
